Remote to launch MP 1.0?? (1 Viewer)

Hopefully there is an obvious fix to this that I just don't know.

How can I program the MCE compatible remote (came with the Hauppage 1800) to load MP?

Unless I'm editing or doing other stuff that is the only thing I still have to use a keyboard/mouse for.
I've mapped all the other functions I need successfully and shut off MCE completely.

I don't want MP to load at bootup as I like to leave the TV Server running solo for recording when not viewing.
And I've found that if I leave MP running in the background then oftentimes after some recordings have been done then MP will lock up when going back to fullscreen.
And the S3 sleep is much more dependable with the TV Server solo.

I am using IR Server Suite. A program called Translater is also installed. In Translater, I configured Green Button to launch MP.

Maybe there is other ways as well?

I use Girder for this process. Whilst at it, I set Girder up to give me options to shut the PC down, restart it, put it into standby, wake it up, standby/wakeup monitors, etc.

On my Harmony remote, I've created a seperate 'Device' name 'Windows' with all of these options.

Thanks. At first I had a hard time finding IRSS, but got it now. Have to check documentation and setup to get it going. I think it will work. And I shouldn't have any MCE conflicts as I have that turned off completely. (Why use anything but MP??). Girder seemed to expensive for an old program for me. And more complexity than needed.
I'll post as things progress.
