Remote TV client cannot stream (1 Viewer)

First off, NOT a MP expert!
(Written a few plugins and use MP on Netbooks instead of a radio alarm clock etc. using my own Automation plugin. Yes, pathetic isn't it!)

I had a similar problem when I >upgraded< from 1.4 to 1.5 Pre Release (see thread), could not stream even although server Win 7 (32 bit Ultimate) and clients Win 7 (Starter 32 bit) but used to work in 1.3 and 1.4 (I have DOZENS of images made with DriveImage XML).

So yesterday I installed from clean Win 7 images and it worked (also to a Win 7 64 bit laptop).

Not definitive I know, but it certainly seemed that something during an upgrade didn't work correctly.

Hope you wife gets better too - some things are much more important.

Hi I had exactly the same problem, it fixed with change of changing Streaming server setting from Auto to IPaddress from drop down list
I had problems from version 1.2.3 and up (re-installed tvserver) now running client on 1.5.

hope this helps, it was driving me nuts
