Remote working in Hulu and then Media Portal (1 Viewer)

It's been so long since I setup media portal and got Hulu being launched from the Media Portal menu.
I don't know what I need to do to get my Haupauge 45 button remote working in the Hulu Desktop and then to ensure it continues to work in Media Portal when I exit Hulu.

Grabbed it and installed it. My googlefu has failed and I'm not able to find any good guides to IRSS. I assume I need to have translator running. Also if there is another IR software running it's going to cause problems correct? Translator is not seeing any keypresses on the remote and continues to time out. I know the Haupauge IR software is running.
