In the previous version, if I deleted a media file directly (via uTorrent WebGUI or network share) then that listing would remove itself from the DB. This is no longer the case. This situation comes up when a repack is issued and downloaded and I need to remove the older file. This situation has pointed out 2 different issues.
First:
If I delete a file, the reference isn't removed from the DB. I do not have "Keep reference to files that are not available" checked and I do have "Watch my import folders for changes automatically" checkmarked. If a file no longer exists then the reference shouldn't exist either - previous version worked in this way.
Second:
If there are 2 different files (an original and a repack), if I delete the original reference and file via the MP interface or Config interface, both references are removed but the repack file still exists and will NOT be imported into the DB (though it will parse just fine) via automatic scan or when "Start Import" is used. The episode needs to be added manually.
So now there is even more manual work that needs to be done (beyond having to use "Start Import" to get banners and episode images for new series or episodes - referenced in the "test new api" thread) for this automated plugin. I still like this plugin and it's the main reason I use Media Portal - I just don't like when things that used to work stop working.
If you need more information please let me know and I'll try to provide it. If you can't reproduce the issue, let me know that as well and maybe tell me what I may have set incorrectly. I've already reset the DB and the plugin. This happens in Blue Two Wide and Monochrome (though the issue shouldn't be skin dependent).
Thanks.
