The problem basically is for large filenames of movies, I can't enter characters in a filename using the "MORE" button on my remote. The process to reproduce is as follows :-
1) Open MediaPortal
2) Go to movies
3) Move cursor over large movie name. My movie of choice is (I know hideously named but this is the sort of thing that breaks it) "2004-2005 Todd Richards - Snowboard Tips & Tricks 2". It is an AVI file which plays fine in my setup.
4) I press "MORE" on my remote and see the menu. I select number 5) - File Menu
5) I select number 1) Rename
6) I move the cursor over to the "<" character and scroll left in the filename. Immediately I see the cursor is extremely badly aligned with the current position it is in. It seems to be moving a constant number of pixels rather than the number of pixels that the width of the character it is scrolling past is. Anyway this isn't my problem - just another observation.
7) I scroll back to the place after the "d" in "Richards". I then backspace this character. Good... it's gone.
8) I then try to put the "d" back. It doesn't work... totally ignores my attempt.
That's the problem there. I had this problem in the previous RC too. Apart from that, great product... won't be touching MCE while you guys are around!
