Request: Delete ImportFolder without deleting all data (1 Viewer)

hey,

i had to remove my import folders within the plugin, because i m using a new hdd for my movies

means, my movies path changed, but there are the same movies
i deleted the out-of-date-path and had to remove all collected movie data..

means i now have to reimport every single movie in different languages



can u implement an option, to relink the import to another source
or to ask you, if you want to delete the path without deleting all data

this may have not been documented (did not try and check) but has been mentioned here in the forum. When you add a new harddrive, add it in the import location but also keep the old one. Then you can move the movies to the new location and Moving Pictures will detect the move. This of course only works when you can have both drives installed at the same time... and this advise may be to late for you...

in the meantime i worked it out by using the "MP Artwork and Info Copier.exe" linked in a topic inside this forum
it worked well, so i now have a *.nfo in every movie subfolder. i guess, i wont have to reimport and select the movies again, when transporting them to another location
