Operating System Reset graphics adapter on resume (1 Viewer)

Hi
When my pc resumes from standby, I get artefacts on the display, I'm on Win7 64 ultimate, with built in hd4000 graphics (i5-3570K).
Can anyone give me (or a clue how to write) a .bat to reset the adapter on resume.
At the moment I go to device mgr and disable then re enable.

The devcon utility can be used to disable and re-enable devices. Having said that, it is highly highly unusual for such an action to be necessary for a GPU. Before recommending devcon, I'd recommend:

1. Ensure you're running the newest official, stable driver.
2. If the problem occurs in connection with MediaPortal, throw some log files our way so that we can check that the problem is really with the GPU driver and not in MediaPortal.
