Zion22: Remember!
1. That simple design cable, does *only* work with Ati based cards, for that to work on Nvidia cards you will need a more advanced design.
2. I've never heard of someone actually destroyed their TV with this, but may be a risk before you get the timings right with PowerStrip - need the timings that did work with my TV just let me know(my CRT instantly blanks screen when it is fed the wrong refresh)
Since i'm using a widescreen CRT i use a resolution of 1024x576 (4:3 would be 720x576 or 764x576) and this will cause some overscan.
3. As i know of - you must build this cable your self, you can't get a ready done cable from any electronics outlet.
Mpod: That is the driver package i'm currently using - in which MP say's that i haven't installed the latest ir-drivers.
FlipGer: It truly is amazing quality, i tried to go back to svideo again(since my TV only have one RGB in - and my xbox + stand-alone dvd player also would like one I couldn't understand that i've actually used svideo for years before so i went back to rgb ;P
I would be very happy if you could give me that ir-driver, right now i'm not at home, but later today i will be. TIA
