Resolution of Mediaportal not the same as Graphic-Card (1 Viewer)

Hi,

i am using MP since a couple of weeks.
Now i have HD Television and i wondered wy the Quality in MP is not the same as watching direct with TV internal Tuner.
I checked the resolution 1000 times and my graphic-card is on Resolution: 1920x1080/24 32bit.
In MP Screen Resolution it shoes me 1280x720. Why?
And how can i fix that?

Hello and welcome Deramond

There are two resolutions shown in MP when you press [shift]+[1] for Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
The "Display" one should match the resolution of your display.
The "Video" one tells you the resolution of the source video. This might be 720p for some HD channels.

Are you checking the right one?
