60hz as the refresh default and no problems which action/games.
Using direct cable from pc, no adapter inline.
Using the HD options on the TV seem to have no effect, think because its a digital input it automatically over rides many settings.
Maybe it's a graphics card thing, that will not let your res go higher, mine will go upto 1920x1080 but text gets blurred.
Also using latest Nvidia drivers, which give you TV/PC options, but as i said, if select as TV and it goes to HD mode it lowers the resolution.

OK just had a bit more of a play with mine and found it will display 1280 x 768 fine @ 75hz but I would say it blurs slightly.

If I change the refresh to 60Hz it's much clearer but the picture is too big for the screen so it looks slightly zoomed in.

If I change the resolution to 1280x1024 @ 75hz it displays but is even more blurred and not really legible.

I have tried 1280x720 @ any refresh and the screen goes blank and displays "Video Mode not supported".

I the resolution options for my graphics card on a plug&play monitor settings only go up to 1280x1024.

Anyone have any more advice on which resolution might be best or how to achieve a HD resolution.

Please note I'm still using the VGA connection to my LCD as I can't get the DVI working yet.

Thnx for the link, but with the Philips display the issue is not overscan. It just refuses to accept anything other than 800x600, 1024x768, PAL, NTSC, 720p, 720i & 1080i. Although (in my case) the original resolution is 1366x768 I just can not get it to display a 1:1 pixel.

mbuzina, I have got mine working using the DVI output now and it works with 1280x720p.

You should be able to get 1280x720p working @ 60hz but not 1280x768 as it's not a supported mode for DVI.

I also find that it doesn't seem to support anything x768 so therefore 1366x768 also won't work.

    Hope this helps.
