Restore button doesn't work (1 Viewer)

I installed MP as a client version (haven't tried with the version on the server), start MP -> go to my TV -> press the restore button on the topbar -> MP freezes.

not a huge problem for me, but if it always happens its a fairly serious bug. if its just me then it not a big deal.

TV-Server Version:
MediaPortal Version: 0.1RC1
MediaPortal Skin: bluetwo
Windows Version: windows XP
CPU Type: P4
do you need more? I don't ususaly test on this PC.

there is a "restore button" in MyTV?

could you make a screnshot please? i do not know which button you are refering too.

Just the button on the topbar (I think it should make it go out of fullscreen mode), anyway, screenshot attached

aahh, you mean switching MP from windowed mode to fullscreen?
i guess you were watching tv when you did this, right?

no, the TV screen was black as in the screenshot. this is a client only install (the server is on another PC) and I have had the TV work but for the log files I just went streight in and pressed the button. I actualy pressed it the first time bacause I could see my firewall messages poping up but I couldn't click on them (I got it in the end).

the icon on the buton is the same as the standard windows "restore" icon.

IS the original poster trying to make MP display go to desktop 'windowed mode' from fullscreen which would be using the 'alt enter' switch.

The button you highlight is to make video playback within the MP display (either windowed or fullscreen) toggle to full image within the MP dispaly.

It is not the desktop switch but the MP video switch.

Hehehe, here that button in topbar starts TV(first click) & then TV fullscreen(second click), it doesn't max MP window....

Works now, maybe I had some problem contacting the server (firewall maybe?) when it happened before, thats what I get too, TV on first and then fullscreen. the icon does imply it would restore (un-maxamize/fullscreen) the application though.
