Restoring databases when upgrading to 1.6 (1 Viewer)

I see from the notes that V1.6 has anew updated database engine, but only if you clean install.

My current setup uses SQL express for the TV Server aswell (ofcourse)as the older SQL Lite. If I do a clean install,can I restore the databases that would have been backed up using the Backup/Restore Plugin, or is it really do everything from scratch?

The database related changes in MP 1.6 are only relevant if you use MySQL as the TV Server database. Since you use SQL Server [Express], you can just upgrade as normal. Don't forget: we recommend to stop the TV service manually before upgrading.
