    Hi,

Been using MP+MP plugin for some time now. Great combination. Thanks...

Questions... since upgrading to MP 1.1 and latest Moving Pictures plug in (1.06), Moving Pictures no longer offers me the Resume dialog. It just goes straight to playing the movie from the start. Its used to offer me this on MP1.0x and prev v1 Moving Pictures (same XP OS, etc underneath).

I see this has come up on the forum before, but I'm just using the std MP player (not external) so rules that causes out, MP codecs etc.

    Notes...
If I select and play the movie from the MP Videos menu item it works fine - offers the resume dialog.
I'm using std MP codecs, etc.

Apologies if I've missed this being covered elsewhere.

Happy to post logs if you can tell me which are useful. Assume this is a MovingPictures issues, since it doesn't happen from the Videos menu item?

    Thoughts? Thanks.

    Nick.

Looks like this is an MediaPortal issue.

    Thanks.

Maybe a MediaPortal issue but I can look into this. Can you restart MediaPortal, reproduce the issue, then post your debug log files. The mediaportal.log and movingpictures.log files would be enough.

In trying to get a reproduceable case for the logs, I've realised some of this is probably my error...

    - For some of the testing I was doing earlier, I wasn't letting the main movie start, just the intro. I now gather/assume resume playback only applies to the main movie (so it isn't offerred if you didn't get that far last time).

    - Secondly, if the DVD files still contain UOP or similar protections, again, my guess is resume doesn't apply as you have to view the warnings again? Removing UOPs seemed to make the prob go away for some of my test DVDs.

    - Which leaves only one movie I can demo the problem on at the moment. Its a new release DVD, and I wonder if it has a newer scheme which forces warnings to be watched, that "FreeDVD" can't remove. Having said that, if I play this movie using the MP Video main menu item, it works fine - offers me a pop up dialog say of which the second options is Resume from mm:ss. But from MovingPictures, it always restarts at the beginning of the DVD.

Debug logs attached. A few details removed (movie title).
I used the Video main menu item to watch it twice first - offerred Resume and resumed as expected.
Then went to Moving Pictures, and played from there, and both times it restarted at the beginning of the disc.
I note in the MovingPictures log the Percentage is first 82321 the 803 of the 90 required?

Let me know what you find.

    Thanks.

    N.
