I'm impressed! a few things I noticed that "bug" me a bit and I saw there was some discussion about the tv guide. 1. the size of the bottom bar seems to be smaller on the main screen than it is on any other screen. This has the effect of making the screen "shift" but the amount of change is only about 20 or so pixels so it looks like an alignment mistake instead of a planned change. modifying the bar on the main screen would fix this.2. myTV screen. there seems to be quite a bit of wasted space on this screen. instead of cramming the channel description underneath the video preview, you couls enlarge the size of the preview a bit an run the description in the blank space to the right or shift the preview to the right and put the description on the left. This would better organize the space on the screen.3. OSD. again the program description seems extremely cramped. you have half your space being taken up with the two lines for the current and upcoming program titles. if you shift the channel number and name over to the left so that it is aligned to the left edge of the channel icon you could free up enough space to move the current program title to the darker upper bar and give you a bit more space for the description. THis would also have the effect of organizing the channel name and current program hierarchicaly(is that a word?) separated from the upcoming show name and description. 4. TV guide. Again I think there is alot of wasted space. I think here you need to ask yourself what information is most important. For starters we don't have many channels visible and we have an awkward show description. We also have the weather visable on this screen but not on the myTV screen. It would seem the most important elemnts are the channel guide and channel decription. Putting the info back on the right isn't a good solution because it will cut the time range shown in the guide in half which makes it hard to plan out ahead what you want to watch. leaving it on the bottom makes excessivly long lines of text and cuts the number of channels visible by 1/3 to 1/4th. Then we have the weather, since the primary purpose of this screen is to pick what to watch and we don't have it on the myTV screen, is it really necessary to put it here? If you remove the weather from the Tv Guide screen you can move the channel description down there with the selected program name and time in the darker bar and about three or possibly 4 lines of text slightly under half the length of the current amount in the grey bar next to the channel preview.
