I've just installed the new SVN. The problem is fixed.
So far so good

Unfortunately, I was too happy too soon.
The last SVN introduced a new problem for me.
Steps to recreate the problem:

1. Enter MP
2. Create a music playlist using songs with Hebrew names.
3. Save the play list.
4. Reload the play list.
5. Hebrew songs' names are now displayed as gibberish.

Notes: While creating the playlist the songs' names are displayed correctly.
Only after saving it the songs' names get corrupt.

Could you please post the first lines of that xml file?
IIRC correctly hwahrmann added some fixes so playlists use UTF8 as well...

The strange thing is that sometimes the playlist is saved OK (e.g second playlist) and sometimes it is saved as gibberish (e.g. first playlist).
In both cases when I try to load the playlist gibberish is displayed instead of Hebrew characters.

PS:
I've tried updating the music database and changing back to the Default skin (just in case) and the problem remains.
