Is there anyway you can make it a separate plugin so the file is overwritten when you update mediaportal?

Found your error Charli181. You need to define your background at the start of the XML.

I just noticed something when I let MP resume after the night, I had to close it via the taskmanager. It might possible relate to this module since I installed it yesterday.

My wireless network interface takes a few seconds to resume and retrieve the contact with the network again. So the RSS-feed lookup failed causing an exception.

Then the init process continues for a while and then gets totaly unresponsive later. When the Basichome is trying to be rendered?

Weird thing is, that on the first run of MP config after installing the plugin, everything works well. I can config it, and then the plugin on basichome works great.
From the second time I try to run config, I get the mentioned error. It can't load home plugin.
When MP is running, the plugin itslef continues to work fine. Just can't be configured.

Now I can confirm this one!

Hopefully this will sort out the issue's people are having!


Update :

Having some difficulties with making the plugin, and the fact that many parts of the MP engine are undocumented, meaning its going to be trial and error to get things working. I MIGHT make some headway this afternoon, but don't hold your breath just yet!

I'm not really good at holding my breath anyway so i started tinkering with a new plugin myself.
