Run cmd file from remote control (2 Viewers)

Hi

I've recently swapped to using the PulseEight CEC adapter, which is working great with the CEC remote plugin.

With my old setup though I had some buttons mapped to run some command line tools, which would turn my lights on and off.

I don't want to open a new window or programme, I just want to run a command, it would look something like this-

Press 1 on the remote, windows would then execute 'c:\lifx\lifxcl.exe lightsn'

Nothing on the GUI would change or be visible?

Is there any way to do this?

Don't know about any way inside of mp to do that. Maybe there is but as I use Eventghost for stuff like that I never looked into it.

If I remember correctly Eventghost handles PulseEight as well. But be aware that as Eventghost opens up a lot of new possibilities it will need some serious amount of configuring...

I'm running eventghost anyway, does it work without the PulseEight tray app?
