Is there anyway that i could possible run a script after pressing play on a video file but before playback starts?
All my media is stored on external hard drives and i have scripts to start/stop the hard drives depending on when they are needed.
What i would like to do is wait for the video file to become available before continuing with playback. Initially i thought i could use a script as the dynamic refresh rate changer, but i can't get the playback to wait til its finished, even using wait.exe like in the forum.
I could also do it by using an external player, but i really want to keep it simple and use the internal one with all its bonuses if possible.
Anyone got any ideas?
