Running windowed mode (1 Viewer)

Evening all.

I'm trying to get media portal to just run in a window rather than full screen.

Done the run windowed mode thing from the settings and I end up getting a window basically the same size as my desktop and when I try to resize it it just pings into fullscreen- a tad annoying.

All I want to do is a pretty simple thing- run a windowed instance of Media Portal so I can also browse things on my desktop.

You can press [alt]+[enter] to toggle to windowed mode. There is a minimum resolution of something like 720x576 (don't quote me on that).
If that is still too big for your screen, there is also mini-mode: in the menu (up where "file" is), choose "options", then select the mini TV mode. You should be able to resize the window to your heart's desire in that mode.
