Hello everyone.

I'm wondering if I can create a channel in MediaPortal that will display my S-Video or the yellow input on my RCA cable (sorry, HTPC noob :sorry: ).

At the moment I have my pay TV box set up through an aerial and I've read the the easiest way to get it working through MediaPortal is to simply have one channel and then change the pay TV channel through my set top box.

So at the moment I've got a Yellow RCA going from the Pay TV set top box output over to the video input on my analogue tuner. I need a channel to display that.

Thanks.

That would be a Composite input not a S-Video input. Check your tv-server settings. The composite input is probably a displayed as another tuner on the card.

If your not using TV Server, goto MP Configuration -> Television -> TV Channels click the button that says Add CVBS/SVHS then figure out which one you need (I think it adds 6 channels) delete the ones you do not need and then rename it to whatever you want.

If your running TV Server goto TV Server Configuration -> TV Servers -> (computer name) -> Analog card click the Add SVHS/VHS channels. Figure out which one you need (using Preview on the TV Channel tree menu), delete the ones you do not need and rename the one you want to whatever.

    Hi mikildemion,

"TV Server Configuration -> TV Servers -> (computer name) -> Analog card": there is only my DVB-S card.

But it has a s-video and a composite input.

How do i get a singal there into MP (works with the software delivered with the card)?
