When i putmy computer into standby it doen't power down fans, which to me seems like it only enters S1 standby. The power led is flashing tho. But shouldn't it turn totaly off(except for ram) when entering S3? I have enabled suspend to ram in the bios.
Due to this problem i used hibernation. But it takes 1,5 min to turn off(enter hibernation), the screen hibernation is on for this long and it is saving to the harddrive for this long, which to me seems like my HD is slow. But when it exits it loads in max 15 sek.
Can anyone tell me/guide me in the right direction on how to make it enter proper S3. And how to make it hibernate a bit faster.
BTW. i have done my testing using MP powerscheduler, but also bu just telling Win to enter standby/hibernation with same result. So it isn't reated to MP, but you guys know alot about this topic
