I have my pc hooked up to an external receiver via optical SPDIF.  I setup SAF the same way as you hitting Yes when it asks you about enabling Pass-through is what was causing it.  After I unchecked the Pass-Through options in the FFDShow Audio config sound worked.Hope this helped</blockquote>
