probably i have update ATI driver after installing SAF.
before installing SAF i used 10.7 ATI driver

in the Log i read: "FFDshow MPEG-2 output: NV12 colorpace"
But i use YUY2 output colorspace.

i thinks the logs are not updated (they are not auto-update?)

YES.
if i set ONLY YV12 output colorspace, the .avi don't work.
ONLY YUY2, works
MORE than one output colorspace (with select the appropriote ........... flagged) i have don't try

this only with MP and SAF.
With MPC-HC or Grapfhstudio NO problem with YV12 output colorspace

I've had to go back to PDVD 9 codec for Mpeg-2 on Live TV to stop the stuttering. Strangely enough, this change has made the BBC HD & ITV HD channels not stutter anymore even though I use PDVD 10 codec for those ?

OK i try later (now i'm at work).
Only 2 questions:
1) i must to re-execute SAF_key.exe before installing the new saf500svn.exe file?
2) i can save ALL my setting of ffdshow audio/video?

1)no
2)yes, but it is not recommended, becouse FFDshouw setting are changed nearly in all new FFDshow/SAF revision and apply old FFDshow setting in to new SAF can broke anything.

Why in your profile "200_MPEG-2 SD (DVD/LiveTV/Local)" you don't use "resize & aspect" setting?
The resize is demanded to ........... ?

Becouse resizing interlaced material doesnot have any reason and it will eat a lot of your CPU + GPU power. It is much better to use GPU to deinterlace SD then resize to by GPU HD instead of use CPU to resize SD to HD then deinterlace HD by GPU.

SAF use resize only becouse of hi quality FFDshow subtitles. There is no reason to resize DVD or LiveTV source.
