Is there any way to not reencode stereo while using SPDIF (Stereo is now shown as Dolby Pro Logic II) - and then i'm not allowed to put my receiver into 5 channel mode or Logic 7. Normally Stereo is shown as Surround Off.

That is default passthrough settings - FFDShow audio decoder - output - encode 5.1 streams only.
    Maybe you disable it?

SAF have nothing to do with MP Audio Renderer.
MP Audio Renderer have ability to encode audio to AC3 - so i bet your problem is here.

    Try it with graphstudio.

No i meant it shows Stereo with mp audiorender and setting FFDShow to NOT use SPDIF ;-) I know that SAF has nothing todo with mpaudiorenderer. I just wanna show that i'm sure it is stereo.

I still have a Problem with playing .wav/.mp3 files with dts audio.

    Sample file: http://www.kellyindustries.com/downloads/dts_the_other_side_44khz_wav.zip

I use an ATI HD5570 Graphics Card.
In the Windows 7 sound preferences i got the option to let Programs have control over the sound output. this works fine with bitstreaming/pass-through for any kind of movie incl Dolby-TrueHD and DTS-HD. When i dont use this option i cant play movies and only get whitenoise.
But i have to disable it to get any sound from the sample file in graphstudio, otherwise its no sound at all.
When i play it in GraphStudio i only get whitenoise.
When i rename it to .dts i get a different screen in graphstudio but still whitenoise.

Windows preferences for ATI HDMI output:

    Graphstudio as .wav

    Graphstudio as .dts

Please take a look at this thread -> Link! I think, you need the pureaudi- or wmplayer Plugin -> Link 1, -> Link 2

    Best regards

This sample is DTS so extension must be *.DTS.
After rename i can play your sample without any problem - but i dont use passthrough.
