    Hoborg,

Could you just confirm. Final saf5 was released on 1st of april. There was a prank in there again with the eyes I read somewhere. Is the same version still present in download folder? Or is it the TRUE final one?

    Thanks for clarifying

    Hi ed!

The version with the eyes was from 2010! The actual SAF5 final has no april fools! It is working great!

    Best regards

I found out, that stuttering and high CPU usage was caused by subtitles in ffdshow. When I disable subtitles in ffdshow, everything plays smooth...

Why do you use ffdshow subtitles! Recommendet are MP subs!

FFDshow subs were enabled by default after installation of SAF5

    Hi,
can i convert my audio output to ac3?

My audio-receiver is switching between ac3/dts and analog (like mp3) with a loud noise and thats why i have deactivated "prefer ac3 " in tv-client settings.

But if i could convert all sound to ac3 but leave original ac3/dts untouched i could switch on "prefer ac3"...

it works wit ac3filter, but its not recommended to use ac3filter with saf5...

Please explain! or give me a hint! or ... make it for me... just kidding, but i need a little bit more infos.

    in the window "output"?

and then? output format for uncompressed or decoded streams?

    what to select?

EDIT: ok that was easy: just remove in ac3 output: "Encode only 5.1 streams"
