continuing with my problem I came accross this.
I tried to read Man on fire (Blu-ray rip) (13:52:10) and Hard Candy (mkv created from a DVD) (13:52:50)
You can see that in the first case, mediaportal detects numerous subtitles tracks but none is detected while opening the mkv file (for the info, this mkv file contains 3 subtitles tracks)

again - did you apply MP patch to support MPC-HC m2ts and mkv splitters?

Isn't is supposed to be included in MP 1.1 RC1? (maybe I missed something)

Subtitle engine yes, but patches not.

First thing I do tonight => patching my version. I'll let you know if it corrects my problem.

thanks for the info, but can someone tell me how to apply the mpc_hc.patch. The other one is easy - just an exchange, but what should I do with the other one.

You should ask on patch author thread, not here. This have nothing to do with SAF.

ok it's working now

just overwrite the old dll under Programs\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

and with the patch you can compile your own svn

ohhhhhhh hoborg, it's great!
with SAF 4.00 final unlocked i got a lot of sound problems (saf 4.00 thread)
now the sound is great!!! i can her the speech.

only one more thing.
i cannot change the ...i don't know how it's called on english "tonspur" audio track, -lane?!.
1st ger, 2nd eng. if i switch between both it always the english one.
is there any solution for that?
