Hi Hoborg: I tried to find a solution in the forums but did not find how to play video's from iphone. They are mov format but MP just hangs on them. Using SAF version 4.00 beta 22. But 5.00 a few weeks ago did not help either. Is this new to you, should it be working in 5.00?

Hi Hoborg.

Split long subtitle lines should be disabled in FFVA configuration. Most subtitle lines are correctly splitted. But when using this the lines are weird

Happens with Friends, Lost, 24 etc and all movies. I've disabled it for now. I think ffdshow cuts lines that are over 33 letters into two lines.

Secondly i disabled MPC-HC subtitle engine. I got subtitles with ffdshow, but i cannot choose anyone i MP GUI and i did apply patch - what's wrong?

Hmm. Well have a look on pictures below. Subtitles are loaded and playing. Connected graph is OK(read further down). But no subtitles are showed in content menu.

Secondly something is very wrong in the graph. Video is played in ffdshow not ffdshow DVAX I'm getting mkv info now.
I think this is the same issue as with my Avatar bluray. FFdshow DVAX is not loaded.

You need to have QT alternative installed + SAF *unlocked*.
If MOV doesnot play, rename *.MOV to *.MOVSD and try again.

Hmm. Well have a look on pictures below. Subtitles are loaded and playing. Connected graph is OK(read further down). But no subtitles are showed in content menu.

Default subtitle track should be in use.
In FFDShow video configuration you can configure remote keys to Next subtitles strem.
If you have remote that support this (like iMon), you can map remote to do it.

But by some unknown reason, it doesnot work yet - at last for me :/

Try it in graphstudio.

And well same thing happens in graphstudio when playing Australia. But it's not the same with Avatar.

That did the trick thanks! Had to rename them to "movsd" to get it all working. Now have to get rid of the "medialooks" logo

Not sure, i do not have DXVA hardware here. Will try it at home, but last time i tryed it all was working just fine.

Yeah some videos play fine but not all.

Try to change HW acceleration in FFDShow DXVA decoder from normal to ignore numbers of ref. frames.
