Hello.
I'm using Win 7.
My CPU is a E8300
My GPU is Powercolor HD5450
My receiver is a ONKYO 606

And when i was using SAF 4.00, i can't passthrough TrueHD & DTS MA correctly, because in receiver it appear DTS-MA but the video was very, very slow and the audio was good.
Now, i use SAF 5.00 and i can see 100% perfect with passthrough TrueHD & DTS MA.

But i have tried SAF 5.00 in MPC-HC.

First i have to thanks this pack, it is perfect.
And i need some help to configure the "Codecs and Renderer" section of "video".

Can anyone post a printscreen?

Hi,

I uninstalled an earlier version of the SAF pack, and installed the latest version 5.0. Can anyone help me understand why, when I try to watch my TV recordings after the new install, I get a message that says:

Unable to play [recording name]
Video Code MPEG-2V
Audio Codec AC3.

Hey Hobor, since this is about SAF 5.00 I ask this here, hope you don't mind!

in SAF 5.00, FFDShow video config, you didn't enable "Set interlaced flag in output media type". I thought this was necessary so that the hardware will know it has to deinterlace? The FFDShow popup, when you hoover over this option also says this option was formerly known as "HW deinterlace"....
and how do you check if this is working?

Hi.
Look more carefully, this option is enabled only for MPEG-2 (DVD/LiveTV/etc...)
There is no reason output progesive video with interlace flag.

WOW You are awesome! I didn't know that was possible but you simply created a new profile that will somehow kick in when playing back MPEG-2! Thanks!

Have the same message with mkvs from ripped dvds, files play fine with SAF4, but not with SAF5, did i miss something in the settings?
I can't provide logs as I'm at work and on SAF4 at the moment.I believe my wife won't be happy if I start to mess around with codecs again. Since SAF4 stable I am happy, but I am very interested in using PDVD10 codecs with SD. It Looks much better on my system.

When I got this message, I had failed to reboot between the uninstall and the reinstall.

I tried my uninstall and reinstall again, but this time rebooted in between, and it seems to have corrected my problem.

I am guessing that something was in use and not properly updated the first time I did this, in the absence of a reboot. I suppose I might have been able to diagnose this further using the tools, although those didn't install properly the first time for me either.

I noticed MP RC2 is out.
It this version you can use FFDShow video decoder for LiveTV (MPEG-2 only). Please report how it is working with SAF.
