Next SAF SVN out:

I completelly remove QT framework support, there is no need to rename old MOV to MOVSD to be able to play them.
QT alternative is no longer needed.

No idea. I am not able to reproduce your problem on two different machines :/

Tryed new drivers, reinstalled saf, etc but the problem remains... Don't know what to do... Anything about reframes? Or compatibility issues with the graphic card (ATI 2400 Pro)?

I think this is audio related, not your GPU.
If AC3 filter work for you, then use it. There is some limitation, but at last DTS will be working.

Can you post your SAF LOGs?

Ok, just found that they work fine using MPC internal dts decoder... So how can i use this decoder in MP?
Also found that the movies with issues have more than one audio track... English, other language. All of my movies with multiple audio tracks don't work in MP, only in MPC...

Hoborg, I have a problem. I use the latest SAF5 but I have this issue with many other versions earlier.
When I select all decoders as stated in the first post most of my MKVs are played using ffdshow DXVA but when playing AVI files I get no sound output.
However when I set "Use automatic codec settings"I do get sound with my AVI files but now some of my MKVs won't playback and DXVA is not used at any time.
Is there any solution?

If needed I can reproduce and get you some logs, just let me know! Thanks!

Look for "MpaDecFilter.ax" in MePo folder and double click on it. If you have SAF installed, decoder should be registered.

BTW, are you sure you do not have anything in MePo postprocessing?

In Graphstudio all plays well but DXVA is not used, it uses the regular ffdshow video decoder. I gues that fits in the picture of this fault but how to fix it so that it uses the DXVA decoder>?

DXVA is not used for all h.264 or only for certain files?

Installing SAF as last one is recommended.
But simple MePo reinstall should not broke anything, you will have MPA audio decoder in list.

But I have a Question about Format Converting from ts.stream to a Containerformat wich needs not so much Place on HDD.

If I convert to mkv. or divx or whatever can you please tell me which Program you prefer to do that ?

I ask you because I wont break SAF or Win7.

Any recompresion will decrease quality.

I have only MPEG-2 source, so if i want to store my recordings, i am using Womble software to remove comercials and cutting and store it as *.MPG
I dont have time to "play" with compresions, settings, etc, it is beter to buy 2TB HDD. Prices are low.
If you want to compress your recordings to h.264 MKV, it is good to use Handbrake.
