    two questions:
1.) do you know where the difference between Cyberlink Video and Cyberlink Video / SP is?
2.) have you found out why ffdshow is unusable for german livetv? Audio/Video are too far away... even with mpaudiorenderer

    1) SP is used for DVD decoding
    2) that is MePo isue (TsReader doesnot like FFDshow) - working great in GB-PVR....

mhm but since NALU support it should be gone...

NALU support won't affect the timing / timestamps related issues. My bet is on that ffdshow doesn't like the time stamp manipulations TsReader is doing when channel change is done. But since I know nothing on ffdshow's code (and it will take quite long time to learn such) it is just a guess.

One thing you could try is to change the "enable / disable the slow motion video effect during channel change" setting. Sorry, cannot remmeber where it is or the exact name - but my guess it is debug setting currently.

mhm will try that as the upscaling of ffdshow is great for SD.

    Hoborg,

Just to let you know, with saf500svn (lavf) it plays MOV files (from within MyVideos for example), but it does not work with Online Videos. OV shows no codec for mov/mp4/m4v - and when you try and play a mp4/mov stream it fails.

    Many thanks,

    J.

BTW, i just tested new PDVD decoder on some BBC HD samples i have and stuttering seems to be gone :)

Yey! :) Was this on the sample I sent you ages ago (the football one?) Might gives this a whirl now as I've not updated in ages.
