Ok, but how do I get that in Mediaportal? :)

No idea, i am not MePo author :)

SAF setup DirectShow on your machine - and as you can see, it is working.

Why it is not working in MePo - ask MePo team :)

Excuse my ignorance here but can someone explain to me the benefit of installing and configuring SAF over simply installing and configuring ffdshow+haali splitter yourself?

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

I just uploaded SAF5 test build. I reworked install script. It is now possible to choose path where SAF should place non system files. Enable subtitles/passthrough was reworked too, i hope users wont be enabling passthrough even without receiver now...

Please test.

Hi,

I have a problem with playback of MKV with DTS sound. I get dropped frames! When I playback the same file (or other ones) with Dolby Digital, I get no dropped frames! How can this be?

I tried SAF 4 & 5. Tried postprocessing with ffdshow audio decoder. Tried ac3filter. Tried Microsoft dvd\dtv decoder. Tried Owlsroost dshowhelper files + original. Nothing helps.

Anyone? Should be a simple setting I hope.

@Hoborg

I also get this problem with MPC-HC. Could this be codec related?
