Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

It looks like the problem is connected to custom renderer.
Setup MPC-HC to use EVR instead of EVR custom - playback will be OK.
I think MePo have the same problem.
No idea what causing it...

That did the trick!! But only in MPC-HC! How can I change this in MediaPortal?

:D

@hoborg

Do you know how to fix it in MediaPortal? :D

No, sorry, i am not MePo dev.
I bet this won´t happend with VMR9 (WinXP+VMR9).

MP custom EVR presenter and MPC-HC custom EVR presenter won't have much more in common than the "custom EVR" in the name. There is just not something like "custom EVR renderer" but instead that is a name for non-MS EVR presenter. So, it is most likely luck that both custom renderers have the same kind of bug.

To get that issue fixes please open a bug report and people try to reproduce and get it into our bug trakcer (Mantis).

AW: Re: AW: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

It looks like bug in MPC AVI splitter.
Open Graphstudio and unregister it. It should play fine now (bot other AVIs may fail...)
Or use MKV merge to remux it to MKV.
I dont have solution for this :/

    Thanks. Will try.

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

I decided to release another SAF5 revision:

    SAF 5.00 SVN20110315:
    - ALL - MPC-HC filters/player updated to rev. 1.5.1.2981
    - ALL - FFDShow updated to rev.3775
    - ALL - make MPC AVI splitter instalation selectable
    - ALL - disable Jitter corection by default. This should fix stuttering with DTS tracks and custom EVR renderers (like in MediaPortal)

MPC AVI splitter is now selectable:
-using Default OS AVI splitter shouls fix problems with some AVI processing aplications, games and for example Win7 x86 performance test. It should fix playback of some AVIs too (like The_Stigs sample), but may result in broken AVI playback on some sytems...
    Disabled Jitter corrections:
-this should fix stuttering playback of videos with DTS audio tracks with combination with custom EVR renderers like MePo using. I tested a lot of videos on my own HTPC and all of them are in sync even with disabled jitter correction.

Update as soon as possible is recomended :)
