I installed rc2 and with jitter correction disabled I am sometimes getting no passthrough audio signal on receiver.
It is strange as I think that correction should not affect passthrough signals.
I have disabled jitter correction in FFDSHOW and I have passthrough enabled for DD and DTS audio. When I start blu-ray video the sound is ok. But it disappears (receiver shows no signal at input) after audio channel changing by MePo. No problems with jitter correction ON.

I don't get this...
Jitter correction in RC2 is not disabled if audio passthrough is enabled durning SAF install - there is no DTS FFDshow audio profile added.
It is disabled only if audio passthrough is not enabled durning SAF install and only for DTS audio tracks - it won't affect any other formats, DTS only.

but i can't understand why you disabled jitter for dts ? with jitter disabled (in rc1) for all my m2ts files went muted....

very similar to what i got without passthrough on my system, but unfortunatly i haven't yet tried rc2....

On my system sometimes when I want to see some avi that I have MP freezes when I try to stop them. It happening since I installed SVN20110315 and now with rc2 too... EDIT .. I have to kill mp with ctrl+alt+del
I tried to rollback at svn101201 (the last one before SVN20110315 that I downloaded) and now I have no problem..
I don't know if can help but you can find a 30 seconds of my avi (in double language) here:

same here with that sample , i'm on MP1.2alpha and SAF5 RC2

SAF5 RC2 is out.

To fix DTS stuttering playback issue, i created DTS profile in FFDshow audio decoder. Now jitter correction is disabled only on DTS tracks.
This works only if audio passthrough is turned off.

That didn't make sence.
Here is reason why it should be disabled.

tested now RC2 , same result on m2ts files with dts tracks, if jitter is disabled i got no audio

i need to enable it on Dts to get audio

Did you try install MPC-HC avi splitter - there is option in SAF install for this.

i need to enable it on Dts to get audio

Can you post me a small sample?
If you play your sample in graphstudio - no sound?

Still this didnt make a sense for me.

Did you try install MPC-HC avi splitter - there is option in SAF install for this.

I will try as soon as possible..but how I said I have no problema with earlier version of saf.

It was automatically install MPC avi splitter. Now it is selectable becouse it causing troubles.

All such AVI issues should be fixed in SAF6

BTW, if you use MKV Merge and convert AVI to MKV, there will be no problems any longer.
AVI is not very good to have two audio tracks inside...
I think it is not oficially suported by Microsoft.

Love also the fast Audio Stream switch

It is very important, not to choose "AMD HDMI Output ... " as MP Audio Render ... with that I did not have sound in MP.
DefaultDirect Sound Device e.g. works )

In RC1 setup, there are several minor text issues/typos:
- Recomended --> Recommened
- The newly added AVI splitter selection/reset (whatever) screen only show 1,5 line of text (Windows 7), the second line is cut in half (the bottom half doesn't show)

A suggestion about subtitles settings screen:
- No (my player can handle it) --> you might mention MediaPortal in there so that the newbies wouldn't get confused.

Other than that, congratulations on reaching RC1 and thank you!!!

Just installing RC2 now and I noticed that I misspelled Recommended on my previous message which led you to misspell it again in the RC2 installer. Sorry about. Also, typing "i" as upper case "I" would be better too. Here is an example that would cover all:
"No, i don't have AV receiver (recommened)" -- should be --> "No, I don't have an AV receiver (recommended)"

I have an issue with mkv's with more than one audio track. I have to install Haali Splitter additionally to not hear all languages at once.
