    Hi Hoborg,
is there a chance that we see a small SAF 5 update?
Some very critical bugs have been fixed in ffdshow during the last days (e.g. DTS bitstreaming is now working properly).
So updating ffdshow and MPC splitter would be nice (while waiting for the new SAF 6).

This is not a small update.
The problem is that such update can broke a lot of other things...
SAF6 should be relased soon... :)

EDIT: ok saf5.01 installed and config from start post. With VMR9 Renderer i got black screen, only sound.
with EVR it works but really bad stutter i think DXVA isnt working.

looks like it is not using dxva decoder?

Again - please, give me link to both of your samples so i can reproduce it in MePo Online videos - for example Online Videos - You tube - best rated - video 1, etc...

You must use VMR9 on XP and EVR on Vista/Win7 to have DxVA working.
To see if DxVA is in use, pres left Ctrl + left Alt + O - OSD will apear. This working only if FFDhow video decoder is in use.

    Hello,

until now I always use the OS AVI Splitter then I do not even use the MPC-HC. So far no problems.Or is it better to use the MPC-HC?

EDIT:: Hobor, it has done with the problems. Have Windows installed fresh and now it works again perfectly with SAF 5.01 and ATI CCC 11.3.

Re: SAF v5.01 *final* (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

    Hi all,

I've recently installed SAF 5 final, and I cannot get bluray rips to work. They play fine in graphstudio (albeit with a CPU of around 80%, which i think is a bit weird as I do have DXVA enabled and a good gfx card?). However, when I attempt to play an m2ts file in mediaportal, i'll click it, and it'll hang for a while, the screen will shimmer black and then come back to the menu again.

    Any ideas? I'm stumped!
