Hello Hoborg, i have following problem. I have a new install of my Win 7 system + MePo 1.2.0 alpha + SAF 5.01 The CPU Utilization was by SD and HD material between 7 and 14%
But suddenly I'm up to 40% for SD material but nothing changed. I'm fun of times gone to the ffdshow Video Settings and did everything resets here have some settings changed. Now I'm at about 14 - 20% CPU utilization Thus, the utilization of the ffdshow video decoder are. Now I would like again to 7 - 14% of. What can I do for settings? And why is the setting changes without intervention?

No one can help me? Or I can explain ?

Live TV does not work at all in MP1.2Beta under XP, so you are lucky...

If I go to preview mode in TV-Server settings I get sound and a decoded picture with half the pícture covered with small squares

Is this a codec fault or is it MP 1.2Beta-related?

I've got a dual-boot and LiveTV works OK for me under XP with MP1.2Alpha and SAF5 final. Haven't tried Beta yet and I'll think I'll wait for confirmation that it doesn't ruin LiveTV before I do!

it seems, that the preview-function of tvserver-setup is not working anymore if the newst saf is installed.
if i want preview a tv channel, i get only sound but no picture!
the preview windows stays empty.
after deeinstalling saf, preview was working again.
can anyone verify that please?

and whats up this time? it seems, that the download-server is not reachable anymore.

to be honest i get this behavior since i started to use saf , but i always thought it was a problem of my tvserver because on client all was working well.

to my eyes is not a big problem because if i get audio of the preview the channel is correctly tuned and decrypted

anyway i will be happy if will be possible to fix it.

then i know now, that i am not the only one with this problem.
it can of course be, that this problem longer exists and not only since the newest saf.
i think, i only noticed it not, becouse i am useing the preiview-function for sorting my channel etc, not very often.
you are right, as long as one hear sound, its not so bad. but its also not very nice.
if this can be fixed, it woulb be great.

the saf project is really nice. i am very curious for saf6

Any ETA on when your host will be up? Currently sitting on a 1.2B install with no codecs. Unlocked still goes to your site, so can't even install.

That is the problem of TV server preview graph build. Instead of use defined video renderer it will use system default.
By other words, by some reason preview doesnot work with VMR9/EVR renderers - this issue is here since SAF5 itself.
