I am seeing alot of studdering and audio ahead of the video on play back on mpeg 2 and mkv in the tv series. I have not seen the same problem with movies. My saf is not unlocked.

Hi, when I try to install latest saf (09-30 and 06-10) I get an error that I am not authorized to execute arc.bat, bass.bat, divaac.bat etc. I am logged in as administrator and execute the saf install exe as administrator. I never had this with previous installs of older versions. I cannot read the batch files too in directory T.

@Hoborg: You said in 5.02 thread "Next version of SAF6 should introduce audio delay and it should be working with MePo audio renderer."
LAVF is now on .37....so how do i get mpaudiorenderer working?

You need to disable certain Audio output formats in LAVF audio decoder settings.
You should ask on MePo audio renderer thread.

No never experienced this on Windows 7 x86.

I still experience the crash when i am using LAV video decoder for live tv. This time it happened when i was in the menu.
I will try to reproduce it more often.

Is there some LAV debugging i can enable? and where could i add a bugreport on the LAV site?

Will try it home by using DXVA - i have only slow Atom CPU.

Yes, I can play the file OK on my Desktop PC but that doesnt have SAF 6 installed. On my mediacentre box it plays fine when using WMP11 but when I play it thru MePo with SAF6 it freezes at the beginning where you mention the small corruption . All the files I have recorded from HDTV in h264 are affected in this way. They have all been encoded to MP4 . When I change them to m2ts some play OK on MePo with SAF others dont. Those that dont Graphstudio shows are using ffdshow DXVA encoder to playback. Those that do using just the ffdshow without DXVA.

Is ffdshow DXVA causing my problems if so what can I doo to fix it?

This coruption can cause DXVA deoder to crash.

because i have my personal setting in ffdshow video decoder.
If i update SAF6 i must to reconfigure ffdshow too

You can store FFDshow settings from registry, install SAF, then apply FFDshow setting back.
