Hello All !

I'm using SAF 6.00 SVN20110729 and plan to update it to last version (SAF v.6.0.1: (20111121)).

Will it keep all my current settings or will I have to reconfigure each settings by doing this update ?

Thanks for all your fabulous work and support !!

Or just do what I did, take a screen shot of your audio settings and save it to your desktop. I don't like importing settings from older versions into new ones, but maybe that's just me. Whenever I want to install a new version of SAF, I can just open the image and use it as a reference, as the only settings I tend to mess with is the OUTPUT. But now I use LAF for everything instead of DDShow, as that made my system crash and I didn't get multichannel sound working unless bitstreamed. I use ReClock to output the sound as AC3 now and my system is very stable finally.

    Will it erase it ?

yes, and it is only for this reason that my personal vote to the SAF is only 9/10 and not 10 :D

    They needs to be overwriten.
But you can export you FFDshow settings, install SAF then apply them back to registry.
    of course :)

    Small O.T. (i thinks):
I notice a big difference between resize software (ffdshow) and hardware (GPU).
In my system the resize (from 576p to 720p or 1080p) done by ffdshow in much better.
So for this reason i created the ad hoc profiles (for DVD)

note obvious differences in your systems?

    Thanks

For DVD resize, you firstly need to deinterlace image (PAL DVDs).
So you will loose HW deintrlacing in this case.
