P.S.

Is there any updates on playing DTS-WAV from MP bitstreamed?
I installed latest saf but still i get only noise. If i try to play file in GraphStudio, it crashes immediately!
Becouse i dont have reciever, i cannot reproduce this one.
Last time i tryed DTS in WAV, it was working, but i dont have ability to test bitstream.

Firstly, test all directly in Graphstudio - just drag and drop your file in to graphstudio and hit play.
If you disable DXVA for h.264, does it works?
First thanks for the quick reply yesterday, i tested see results below;

Rise of the planet of the apes:
*DXVA enabled (only h.264)
>>green screen, time playing looks like it's seeking and graphstudio crashes when video is stopped
*DXVA enabled (only VC1)
>>green screen, time playing looks like it's seeking and graphstudio crashes when video is stopped
*DXVA enabled (both h.264 and VC1)
>>green screen, time playing looks like it's seeking and graphstudio crashes when video is stopped
*DXVA disabled (using FFDshow video decoder instead of dxva decoder)
>>Plays normal, cpu load arround 25% and sometimes gpu activity of 30% (random activity think not movie related)

Cloudy with a change of meatballs:
*DXVA enabled (only h.264)
>>black screen, time doesn't run and graphstudio does not crash when video is stopped
*DXVA enabled (only VC1)
>>black screen, time doesn't run and graphstudio does not crash when video is stopped
*DXVA enabled (both h.264 and VC1)
>>white screen, time playing looks like it's seeking and graphstudio does not crash when video is stopped
*DXVA disabled (using FFDshow video decoder instead of dxva decoder)
>>black screen, time doesn't run and graphstudio does not crash when video is stopped

I need DXVA becouse of lack of cpu power (Atom D525).
Tried to fit my NV GTX285 in my HTPC but this couldn't fit becouse of the cooling is too large (overlaps SATA ports wich prevent me from connecting the harddrive required for booting)

Could it be the graphics driver of ATI? i use 11.12 (will 12.1 be better?)

Well, there is no reason why it shouldnt be working.
I think there is something really wrong with your system :/

Strange the parts of this system are less than a month old (except for the graphics card)
Think i'm going to look for a cheap nvidia card wich i hope is supported by the LAV cuvid decoder

If you have something broken inside DirectShow, replacing GPU wont help.
Did it even working? It is possible that you have damaged GPU as well.

It did work with only LAV video decoder (not tested again) but no hardware acceleration so stuttering playback because of lack of CPU power

First of all, are you sure that the files you're trying DVXA compliant? ;)
4850 should be more than enough to play those, I'm using onboard 4200IGP for my DXVA compliant videos...

hello!! i ve got problems with SAF6.05 !!

1/ffdshow AC3 encode option doesnt work anymore, i v got PCM 5.1 outpout with EAC3 video ... (It has worked before ) ...
2/ i mpc hc , LAV audio codec is always used by defaut !! i cant use ffdshow codec ! i put ffdshow codec in external filter , en put it as prefer! but mpchc use another codec, or LAV codec ....

    - how can i use ffdshow codec by default in mpc hc ?
    - waht diference between ffdshow splitter and ffdshow codec (it works with splitter)
    - in media portal is ther a way to know which codec is in use ???

    thanks !
