Win7 x64 / Nvidia GT 430 --- this should be o.k.
But i think the Problem ist the AVM .... there is no HMDI Input
So i only will get AC3 and Stereo

I checked the Ports on the AVM

No HDMI ... but there is also a Coax Digital Input ... i never use something like this. Is this port usable for the BD audio stuff ?
--> i personal think it doesn´t

btw ... is there a other way that i can change ( for example DTS-HD ) to DTS with a postprocessor ffdshow. When yes how i can do this ?

That's not a solution. As i see no need to reencode DTS or DTS HD to AC3 - this will lower the quality. The renderer will then reencode every audio stream. Not only AAC. So this makes no sense to me. Is there no way to enable ffdshow audio processor again with SAF and then use it in postprocessing?

Hey hoborg, thanks for your tipp, i buy the gigabyte ATI 6750 and now all works fine, HD Sound, Sound when i turn on/off my AVR, all works perfekt for me now, and it's a very nice card with awesome power.

The other thing, i think this was the work from ffdshow, that i can play Audio with DD / DTS on my TV Stereo SPeakers.Now with lav it would play the sound on my tv speakers when the sound are DD / DTS. I think this is normaly or ?

PGS subtitle aren't working here by default! After unticking "Deliver only Forced Subtitles" all is working as exspected! Logs and screenshot are attached!

This option is controled by your answers durning SAF install.

It is planed to reenable FFDshow audio in next SAF release.

Hi hoborg, thanks for recommending the video cards, I finally replaced my HD 2600 with HD 6770, unfortunately not with passive cooling but it is an amazing card, suddenly everything works on 1080 with no problems.

I have a question regarding PDVD11, can I install the player and use it's codecs as you recommended on the TV VIDEO tab? are they superior to windows 7 codecs or FFDSHOW? I understand they are used just for live TV and recorded TV, am I right?


EDIT: I've on Catalyat Control Center many options I didn't see before. I found a list of recommendations from an Australian forum, is the list still accurate:

IN ATI CCC
1. disable Edge-enhancement
2. disable De-noise
3. disable 'Enforce Smooth Video Playback'
4. disable automatic de-interlacing, and set the slider bar to vector adaptive, confirm vector adaptive
de-interlacing using 1080i cheese slices stress test.
5. set underscan to 0%
6. drive your panel/projector at native resolution
7. match output refresh rate to input source material frame rate ( as long as panel/projector supports
the refresh rate )

On Panel/projector ( ideal if panel is 1080p native resolution )
8. set overscan to 0% on panel/projector.
9. disable all forms of image processing on panel/projector, eg Edge-enhancement, sharpness, De-
noise, motion flow, DNIe, etc...

Jelmo, if you register mpadecfilter.ax in the mediaportal directory(double click it), a new audio codec will appear called MPC MPA audio decoder
this will be able to take just the DTS from a DTS HD truck(blu ray) and send it to your amp via SPDIF(optical cable)

ive been using this for ages and it works ok

That does not matter. I just need any TS recording with DD+ audio stream.
