i use it unlock (since SAF4 allways)
well - but if i wanna use powerDVD for Videos and select it in codecs & renderer - video-codec!
and start a movie - remote graphstudio informs me that MePo regardless uses FFDShow ..
thats why i try to play arround with the merrits ...

Then disable h.264 if FFDshow video decoder/FFDshow DXVA video decoder setting.

oh - dissabling the h.264 in ffdshow will let MePo use an other codec if DXVA is available?

did not know ... and will try that asap...

Sounds like there is:

1) bug in MP if it wont use the Cyberlink when configured
2) incompatible stream and Cyberlink refuses to connect - ffdshow will get used since DirectShow sees it as suitable replacement
3) Cyberlink not working at all - does it work in GraphEdit if you manually build the graph (TsReader -> Cyberlink -> EVR)?

Yesterday I tested that. I set Cyberlink for h.264 codec for Videos. When I played video using MyVideos plugin, Cyberlink codec was used. So I don't see the problem.

When I played same video online using OnlineVideos, FFDShow DXVA was used. Sebastiii told me that OV uses merits and not MePo settings. Are you using OV perhaps?

As i already wrote - easist way is simply disable h.264 in FFDshow.
h.264 decoding will fall back to next h.264 decoder acording merrit and this is PDVD11 decoder in unlocked SAF.

CyberLink won't handle a lot of video formats that FFDShow can, so it is not a good idea.

Nonsence. I didnt touch safkey.exe for ~2 years. No virus reported here by Avast! (and newer was).
You can check the files by some online virus scaner.

Looks like Kaspersky have some false detection.

I deinstall KIS and Install Avira Premium Security. I test a Windosimage Image from Sunday and here the same, too.

SAF 6.00 SVN20110729 released:
- LAVF updated to .31
- redirect .DTS and .AC3 splitting to LAV splitter
- removed AC3File (replaced by LAV splitter)
- updated SAF German translation (thanks to Cojun)

-AC3File was replaced by LAV. This will alow to play DTS tracks in WAV container without need of rename them to .DTS.
This only works with LAV splitter + LAV audio decoder combination!
-it is now possible to play DD+ .AC3 audio files - this was not possible at all until now
It should work with all possible .DTS audio formats too.

All HD files stutter? What monitor/TV do you have?

no, find only this series which stutters with EVR. With VMR9 it runs smooth.

My TV: Sony KDL 32W4000

Can you post a small sample to test ? You can use MKV merge to create small sample.
Maybe there is something wrong with file itself.

mkvmerge isnt working for me. When i add a file, the cpu load rises to 50% constantly. And nothing happen.

i figured out that when i play this file with EVR the CPU load rises to nearly 100%. Maybe thats the reason why it stutters.
Seems that something isnt correctly working.

Is it required to reinstall SAF when installin a new Graphic Card? Got the strange feeling that it still uses onboard Graphics.


EDIT: i've checked the GPU load in Catalyst and its ~ 30% when playing the file in graph studio with EVR
