That test release was great timing, as yesterday dug out some video's of the family on ram disk, which immediately crashed WMP on loading because of ffdshow.

They now all work a treat.

I also have broken sound with all online video.

Are these known issues (broken subtitle in blurays and broken sound in online video)
Have not found any posts about this except the above.

If not I can start digging some more with graphstudio and logs.

I have noticed that LAV audio decoder seems to be broken. At least in my system.
When I use LAV audio in graphstudio or MePo I get very distorted sound.
Passthrough DD and DTS is no problem but if I turn off passthrough and decode the audio it is very bad.
I have tested AAC and AC3 streams.

I can kind of hear the correct audio but with heavy distortion.

The reason I noticed this (since I am normally using ffdshow) is because online video does not seem to bother about MePo codec settings but using merits and LAV has apparently higher merit than DIVX aac decoder. My solution was to remove LAV audio from system so that DIVX is used for acc streams. All other are handled by ffdshow.

Is it something with my system or is there a bug in LAV audio?

What should I provide since logs does not probably help? or? Maybe the saf install log so you can see all my specs?
I am using test version from 110607.

Hi.
No need to remove LAVF audio, you can simply disable audio format you dont want to proceed by LAVF in LAVF audio decoder setting.
Too bad i cannot reproduce any issue, working just perfectly on all machines i already tryed. No idea what can cause it for you. What soundcard do you have?

I had a chance to watch a complete movie last night. I jumped around the movie, forwards and back, without any issues. The movie I was having issues with also works without any issues. Good job.

Not until passthrough und AAC reencode is working ;-)

Or MP Audio Renderer has resampling & up / downmixing implemented.
