So, thanks hoborg, my dts problem is gone. But i have now another one. When i will watch Iron Man Blu Ray, he do nothing he jumps back in MePo home screen. The same with mkv file was made with makemkv from the iron man blu ray. I think the problem is the first audio line, its dts-hd master (loosless) All other dts sounds working great. But this one movie will not play. Is that a problem from lav or from MePo but with ffdshow he works fine.

Does it work in MPC-HC and/or GraphStudio?

I had the same issue, could not use dts-hd, when enabled the video exited and I was back in mepo. What I did to fix was to open a video in graphstudio, open LAV properties and enabled "Use DTS-HD framing for all DTS types" and it worked.

k thank you for the tipp i will test it. What exactly does that mean ? That all normaly dts sound where send in hd to my receiver ?

Ok in mpc-hc player the iron man runs fine. When i set dts-hd framing i have no sound by dts audiofiles.

Your are surely enthusiast to removing FFDshow sound codec but LAV is very far to be perfect and not useable for me. For example sometime it swap front and rear speakers !? Video synchro is also not perfect with it. So please let the ffdshow inside the pack or some of us will need to install it separately ;-)

Another question is how can we quickly go to the codec properties without the ffdshow menu ? I try proppage.dll without success on my windows 7 64. We need to used MPC-HC ?

btw. minor annoyance: when you disable the installation of MPC-HC, the SAF installer still asks you to uninstall an existing version of MPC-HC.

Can you report swaped chennels directly to LAVF thread?
Can you provide video sample with A/V desync to reproduce?

There is no way how to access LAVF settings directly. Easist way is to open your video in graphstudio and 2x click on LAVF splitter/audio decoder.

I have a short question...

Why isn't it possible to connect the LAVF Splitter to LAVF Audio when there is no default renderer but a specific device (like HDMI or SPDIF)?

Will this be fixed in a future release?

The background:
In MediaPortal I wrote a plugin which changes the audio renderer, so I can can change while playing any video to another audio renderer! But this is not possible, because the connection fails when der is no "default renderer" in graph...

Thor2605: it works for me at least. On one machine I have configured the ATI HDMI out as the audio renderer in MediaPortal and I am using SAF 6 with LAV codec (and splitter).

For me this does not work!

But I think this issue has something to do with nvidia graphic cards?!?

On my HTPC this works (ATI 4550) but on my Desktop this is broken (Geforce 9800GT)...

Well, this is not decoder/splitter issue. Something in your audio renderer refusing connection, like mono audio, certain bitrates, etc... This is mostly audio driver issue. Did you tryed MediaPortal Audio renderer?
