Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

Maybe you enbabled audio passthrough durning SAF insall?

I have enabled Passthrough. I want passthrough to my reciever. Isn`t that working?
Mybe you choose wrong audio renderer - there was a user with similar issue few pages back.

What is the right renderer? I cant find the issue in the thread. And Why is it playing with sound in MPC-HC?

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

hoborg, just wanted to let you know that SAF6 is working flawlessly on my 8 channel analog out system. I updated MP to 1.3 beta, StreamedMP and SAF to find that it now supports DTS-MA. rock on! I do have to turn off dxva on VC-1 to get bluray rips to play right, but that's all. Those rips are all done by me with MakeMKV. Thanks for your help through the last couple of years!

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

Hi Hoberg
Sorry for posting this twice, but I was afraid your didn't see it.
After installing SAF 6 unlocked I now have better TV quality than ever Thanks very much for the setup.

A small issue has araised though. I now have about 0,5 sec out of sync, the audio is 0,5 sec ahead of picture.
Any suggestions to this?

Thanks in advanced

I saw it, but i dont have answer for you.
Do a recording then play it outside MediaPortal - in graphstudio. Still the same problem?

Hi
I made a recording and played in Graphstudio and the audio is also here a bit ahead. The codecs used are not the same as chosen in MP config, but I assume that was expected?!
Any suggestions what to try?

Can you provide a sample?
Are you using audio passthrough?

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

i downloaded a concert live, format is mpeg-2 transport stream but i only hear audio and dont see the video. any ideas how i can fix this? its over 5 gigs so not sure how i can upload a sample lol

    thanks.

If you simply rename your file from .TS to .M2TS - does it helps?

Try to change video renderer in MePo settings VMR9<=>EVR.
But if you have old GPU, there is nothing i can do.

I have the same problem as elvis56 but your solutions did not work for me. Any other suggestions? Funnily enough I can play the .ts file in other media players and get image but no sound. Either way, I can't seem to watch this stream.

Still can't figure this out. I just uninstalled and reinstalled SAF 6 and the problem remains. Here are the specs of one of the videos I get sound with but no picture:

    modtang:
Try to play your sample in Graphstudio.
Is FFDshow DXVA video decoder in use? If yes, 2x cklick on it and disable h.264 DXVA, close Graphstudio and open your sample again. This time normal FFDshow video decoder should be in use.
Still no picture? If no, can you provide small sample to test?

I got sound and video under both circumstances. Still no video when I play it in MP though. I've tried all the different video codecs and get the same result.

I just tried playing the file in MPC HC and WMP and in both cases I get picture but no sound. Back to MP, I get sound but no picture. Here's a sample of the file. I'm really confused so I hope you have some ideas once you've looked at the file.

If the file working in Graphstudio, then SAF is working as it should and there is nothing i can do.
I will look on your sample.
Did you check your MePo LOGs for possible crash?
