Is there a way to forcefully increase the volume for LAVF?

5.1 movies are very quiet on my MP client in my bedroom. It's quiet on AC3 shows because I only have stereo monitor speakers..

Not right now. But it is planed feature.
But if you have Win7, you can do that by OS mixer.

My HTPC is WInXP based, so wont help you with that

Hoborg, i need some help.

My receiver is the Onkyo 709, that have "Zone 2" that only works with analog audio.
My HTPC is connected with HDMI to my Receiver and also with Analog to my receiver, and with mediaportal all of my movies works perfect with bitstream HD audio also.

But, i have a projector in my "zone 2", and i can configure my music with itune to use my analog output, and i want to do the same with videos, for example use MPC-HC to use my analog output, and this i can do, but my problem is that my audio is configure to bitstream to hdmi, so can i change only MPC-HC to don't bitstrem audio and use only my analog output?

Do you understand my question?
My english is not perfect.

When i will use the LAV in LiveTV comes an message that he can not play it.

Make sure you dont use MePo audio renderer.

With GraphStudio everything works fine.

But if I put in MP, remains banned from ffdshow.

Then there is something wrong with MePo (not a SAF issue). Try to rename your recording to *.m2ts and try it play in MePo.
BTW, make sure you dont use MePo audio renderer!

Can be in conflict with the w7 codec?


In "TV CODEC" in the part where it says "DD + AUDIO DECODER" I can not put "LAV" as you say on your site because it is a HD television program "TVE-HD" with the black screen and just leaves me restart the MP, ffdshor feel the same. just get it to look with "MICROSOFT AUDIO DECOVER DTV-DVD" but did not hear anything.


with MP without the SAF is seen and heard, but not with the quality of the SAF

BTW, LAV CUVID Decoder is now part of LAV Video decoder, and will be relased soon.
New SAF release will follow.

This is good news for all nVidia users

I have the problem of no sound when i play .mkv in MePo.

I didn´t enable passtrough, i have connected my computer with the TV via HDMI direct.

It workes fine in graphstudio and i don´t understand whats wrong.

can somebody please help?

Could be audio stream?

Or your renderer/direct show device?

We need more info...

Post a screen capture of when playing directly in graphstudio, and one of graphstudio when playing through MePo.
