Hey guys. Im having trouble with my onkyo reciever not taking aac 5.1 files properly. Every aac file is read as dolby pro logic 2. Dd 5.1 and dts files work fine. Is therr anyway in saf 6 to get aac to transcode to dd 5.1?

Also anyway to get true hd dts to transcode to dts ?

All of this over spdif.

just tested the new version and it still has the crash (after some time) on live hdtv.
Crashing dll is: avcodec-lav-53.dll

Are you using LAV video decoder for LiveTV? If yes, try PDVD instead (from unlocked SAF).

I am indeed testing the LAV video decoder for liveTV. it switches faster between channels than PDVD and imo it has better support for National Geographic HD (which PDVD struggles with). Only downside is the crash sometimes

Right now LAV video decoder is not recommended to be used for LiveTV at all.

LAV Video Decoder works like a charm here for LiveTV. Never had a crash.

No, but I don't use LAV Audio Decoder with LiveTV. My combination is LAV Video Decoder and ffdshow audio decoder for SDTV. No problems!

When i use lav video and audio for livetv it is not out of sync for me either. Just once in a while that dll crash (and mediaportal crash). For the rest it works like a charm.
I will test lav video + ffdshow audio today.

LAV video + LAV audio combination has currently a crash (unles CUVID is used as the decoder engine) when audio stream's format changes. It should be fixed in the next LAV release.
