PDVD12 from SAFTest pack working right here... Only issue is with MPEG2... It's no stable, and I need to switch to LAV Video, which for MPEG2 Broadcasts doesn't suffer from long glitches on zapping.

    bye!

I always have a stutter issue with LIVE-TV with pdvd (any version). It happens with two channels: Discovery HD showcase and Animal Planet HD. With the LAV video decoder I don't have any issue with any channel. And image quality looks the same to me.

I use PDVD12 with 1080i 50 Hz broadcasts with no problem...

My general experience is that broadcasters do many "strange" things, and it's quite difficult to find a decoder which works ok for all broadcasts... I'm lucky now, because PDVD works right for me (11 and 12). :p

    bye!

Strange thing observed ... during installation of atmowin my system set itself to Windows7 basic sheme (atmowin uses much of the graphic memory it seems ...)

Anyway - as I was only runing test i left it thatway (agaionst everything promted in wiki about shtutter and so on) - and shtutter is gone ... turning arero on again - it happens again fromtime to time (like a hick-up in teh picturse - sound continues but picture stopps from some parts of a second). Coudl anyone with verify this (simply setting the sysem environment to "maximal performance")?

I run Windwos 7 64 bit on my machine with a i3 2100 and an ATI Graphiccard

Are you using driver 11.4 for ATI gpu, these seem to be the best reported driver that works, if they support your 6570 that is.

    Many Thanks Hoborg,for a great job !
    I have newbe questions.
I have a asus zonar D2 card and use the 7.1 analog channels from it, to connect to my amplifier.
How do i tune in SAF6 an MP for the audio?
Is it enough to do as in youre screenshots ?
I have used SAF 5 (not unlocked) and adjusted a lot in ffdshow for the audio, but now i have win7 and it don't sound so good anymore, so i will do a fresh install with MP v1.2.2 and SAF6,and i dont really know where to begin to make a good configuration :(

Trying to install SAF609 on Win7 x32 I'm getting permission errors when it gets to arc.bat and the .bat files after that.

I've checked the Permissions on the Program Files folder and they are:
Creator Owner, System and Administrators - Special Permissions
Users - Read and Execute, List Folder Contents and Read
Trusted Installer - List Folder Contents and Special Permissions

and Trusted Installer is the Owner. This all seems to be the same as on my other system (Win7 x64) where I don't have any problems installing. On both systems, the users are Administrators and I've tried specifically running SAF609 as Administrator as well. If I check the C:\T folder it creates, I'm unable to execute or open the .bat files in there manually, so it seems there's a permission problem on that folder, but checking the permissions shows that Administrators (and Users) have read and execute rights.

Even if I manually set the Owner of C:\T to the current user before running SAF, SAF seems to remove this user from the Permissions when I run it and when I check the Owner of the .bat files that can't run it says "Unable to diplay current owner". This only applies to the .bat files though and the files (7z.dll, ff_*.*) SAF creates in this folder before the .bat files install fine and show the Owner as Administrators.

SAF also doesn't create a SAF.LOGs file in the root of C: which I guess is also a permissions issue (although it doesn't give a specific error about that file) which might help pinpoint the problem.

EDIT: I found that the folder I was trying to install from was Owned by a strange user, so I removed that and changed the Ownership to Administrators thinking that was the problem but it's still doing the same thing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SAF_Key after changing the Owner as well, in case that had gone wrong but that hasn't helped either.
