SageTV -> MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

I'm a long time user of SageTV and really like some of the ways it works. I installed MP and wrestled with xmltv to get the guide data and finally did. However, I am experiencing some MAJOR problems with MP.

1. UI

Using a mouse on the default skin's main menu is incredibly difficult, the scrolling is so slow (even if I turn it all the way up) and sometimes (not always) the mouse acts like its not calibrated. Your mouse could be 200 pixels away from your target and the target lights up (ex. The position of the mouse and cursor are in a different location then MP thinks. Yes its just a standard mouse and works everywhere else)

When going into the guide there is no *NEW* tag on shows that haven't previously aired. SageTV manages to do this somehow.

2. Scheduling recordings

I scheduled three shows, Top Chef, Frasier and Pawn Stars The first scheduled just fine, the second -- after I hit ok it waited 2 minutes before allowing me to do anything else, the third just sat there in the scheduling state -- i eventually had to kill the app.

Also, when I added Pawn Stars there were a lot of shows and I just wanted to tell it record new ones, but there is no option for that.

I removed MP, scheduling is extremely important. Maybe there was something else I needed to setup?

1. Mediaportal is design for using a remote or arrowkeys. But this behaviour i can't confirm.

2. If you are using MP 1.2.3 i can confirm, sheduling wasn't smooth at all. But give 1.3 MP Beta a chance. Scheduling recordings was really improved. No more timeouts.
