Not having to go online for movie covers and description is a very good idea. It will speed up importing process tremendously. Specially if your movies are not stored locally and you have multiple machines accessing the same file server.
It should be that way:
If
there is movie.nfo and/or movie.jpg and/or etc then read from files
else
go online for information and upon approval save movie.nfo, etc to movie folder.
Actually, that should be the behavior of all plugins, MyMusic included.
It's almost like MP3 tags !!!
