now channel 10 and 9 isn't viewable. just blank screen....

Are you referring to 9 & 10 SD or HD ?

SD should work fine - but HD probably won't.

Anyway, use the MP supplied decoders (Dscaler is good) until you have all the channels working properly, then you can try the other decoders to see which you like the best.
