I noticed that the tv.log had 2 entries for psisdecd.dll (one that was installed by my BDA drivers and the other from the dvbfix folder that I added from the TV Server requirements). I re-ran the runme.bat in the dvbfix folder to make sure that only the dvbfix version was registered. Checked the tv.log and only saw one entry for psisdecd.dll now.

My channel scanning is working great now.

This is the reason why we improved the detection methods ;) Thanks for your effort to find out the reason on your system yourself.

Terriff - I have tried what you suggested, I have a DVB-T card so no LNB settings (i don't think) but I have reinstalled the drivers and checked the log for any duplicate dll's, no joy.

    Any other suggestions anyone?

    Hi everyone,

Is there a simple answer to this one? I too have tried to load RC1 on to a fresh Vista 32 install, everything seems to go fine but the TV channel scan zips through in about 5 secs. and says nothing found.

I've tried 0.2.3.0 again and the TV server finds all the channels OK (but with terrible delay on channel change-over).

What are so many of us doing wrong?

    Many thanks in advance.

    :sorry:
I thought that there might be a common step that I could have missed that might be pointed out.
Please find a set of logs
    Many thanks once again.

    Quick update,
I've done another complete fresh Vista install + updates & drivers (nothing else), then installed RC1 and the Tv Server is picking up channels as it should.
I've applied the latest SVN and its still OK for me.
The channel change is still very slow, I notice when scanning that although the signal quality is 100%, the signal strength is only about 25 - 40%. Is this likely to be the cause? I have had the aerial installation professionally installed and the signal was supposed to be correct when they left (having removed a masthead amp and boosted splitter).
Anyway I'm a significant step forward.
